DEACON 770-L-SS is a thermal reactive liquid sealing compound designed for use on stainless steel, particularly in high temperature and high pressure applications. It serves as a gasket dressing to enhance sealing capabilities and can reseal various gasket types, extending their lifespan. DEACON 770-L-SS can also function as the sole sealant on low tolerance metal-to-metal joints. DEACON 770-L-SS will form a mechanical (“mechanical type”) seal. It is applied as a thin, uniform coating that flows under compression without cementing threads or flanges, ensuring it does not hinder future repairs. Additionally, it remains unaffected by thermal cycling.
