Flexible 100% PTFE lantern ring material is designed to perform like traditional lantern rings yet easy to install and remove. Lantern rings are widely used in applications where outside lubrication is necessary in order to keep packing lubricated, cool and flushed of abrasives and chemicals. The use of lantern rings greatly increases the life of compression packing, resulting in less maintenance and downtime over the life of the equipment. PTFE flexible lantern ring material is perfect for temperatures to 550°F and pH 0 to 14.

Flexible PTFE lantern ring material, also known as Universal Seal Cage, is designed to perform like traditional lantern rings. PTFE Flexible lantern ring material is pliable and easy to install and remove. Each piece of PTFE lantern ring material is made of 100% food grade virgin PTFE and comes in a 48" length coil. PTFE flexible lantern ring material can be easily cut to the specific length with a knife or saw, therefore eliminating the need to stock many different lantern ring sizes. Simply cut the amount of PTFE lantern ring material needed for each ring.
